TikTok just launched a new educational channel for small and medium-sized businesses to use the app more effectively for marketing purposes. 

The Follow Me suite offers a 6-week program from July 11 to August 19 to provide resources for businesses that explain how they can get started with the app, how they can set up an account, use the Creative Centre and the Ads Manager.

But it’s also a way for business owners to engage with others, share their own stories and build a community on TikTok.

Some 81% of small businesses say that the app is fun while 73% also agree that it’s easy to use. 

Being a platform that prides itself on user engagement, it seems a logical next step to perform the same function for the business community. 

During kick-off small business ambassadors Cassie Sorensen, owner and founder of Tassel Amor and Jacob Zander, owner and founder of Feel Your Soul are speaking about their journey on the app and how videos and entertainment can drive results and sales.

Follow Me caters to different goals depending on business needs and provides a 6-week email series with best practices for running TikTok campaigns and brand stores.
